There are few technical issues associated with it which I had never experienced with the usual traditional scanners. I would, however, recommend the use of the Autel MD802 MaxiDiag Elite Scan tool if your need is something global and compatible.

I was told this code reader is able to access to all those available modules, that's why i chose this tool rather than the cheaper md802 four system version. There are many functions, such as it can access to all modules and quickly check what's the causes of the faults.

I can use it to read/erase codes and display live data for abs module, PCM,arc module, gem, pam, rap, pats and so on. I got many codes by using this tool on my explorer1999, and it can do more than codes but with a lot of features can do much of anything. A really handy diagnostic tool."
